Best Days — September 2042
The Moon sets the daily rhythm. Waxing days (after the New Moon) favour starting and building; waning days favour finishing and releasing; and when the Moon is void-of-course, tradition says hold off on launching anything new.

Astro Planner — September 2042 PDF
These best days plus the month's full sky — phases, eclipses, ingresses, void windows and a day-by-day Moon guide — as one keep-and-print planner:
How to use this
For a fresh start — a launch, a first date, a new project — pick a waxing 'Best' or 'Good' day, ideally just after the New Moon, when the Moon is not void. To finish, release or let go of something, the waning days after the Full Moon are ideal. Avoid starting anything important while the Moon is void-of-course. For day-level timing within a chosen day, see planetary hours; for the month's lunations, see the astro calendar.
This calendar rates days by the Moon alone. The fuller classical method — the Ascendant, retrogrades, combustion and the hour — is set out in Electional Astrology, and the old rule on beginning with a growing Moon in Waxing vs Waning Moon.
Frequently asked questions
How are the best days chosen?
Each day is scored from the Moon's phase, sign and void-of-course status — the classic factors of electional astrology — to flag the month's most favourable days.
What is a void-of-course Moon?
It's the stretch after the Moon's last major aspect in a sign until it changes sign. Plans begun then often 'come to nothing', so those hours are usually avoided.
