Eclipses 1918
Eclipses are the year's most powerful lunations — turbo-charged New and Full Moons that accelerate beginnings and endings. 1918 brings 4 eclipses: 2 solar and 2 lunar.
A total solar eclipse is a supercharged New Moon Gemini — a powerful reset that plants seeds and opens a new chapter in the Gemini areas of life.
A partial lunar eclipse is a supercharged Full Moon Capricorn — a culmination and release point where something comes to a head and is let go.
An annular solar eclipse is a supercharged New Moon Sagittarius — a powerful reset that plants seeds and opens a new chapter in the Sagittarius areas of life.
A penumbral lunar eclipse is a supercharged Full Moon Gemini — a culmination and release point where something comes to a head and is let go.
What is an eclipse, astrologically?
A solar eclipse is a New Moon so exact that the Moon blocks the Sun — a charged fresh start whose effects unfold over the following six months. A lunar eclipse is a Full Moon where Earth's shadow falls on the Moon — a climax and release, often surfacing what's been hidden. Eclipses arrive in pairs about every six months, on the sign axis where the Moon's nodes sit, and tend to bring fated, fast-moving change in those areas of life.
