Eclipses 1989
Eclipses are the year's most powerful lunations — turbo-charged New and Full Moons that accelerate beginnings and endings. 1989 brings 4 eclipses: 2 solar and 2 lunar.
A total lunar eclipse is a supercharged Full Moon Virgo — a culmination and release point where something comes to a head and is let go.
A partial solar eclipse is a supercharged New Moon Pisces — a powerful reset that plants seeds and opens a new chapter in the Pisces areas of life.
A total lunar eclipse is a supercharged Full Moon Aquarius — a culmination and release point where something comes to a head and is let go.
A partial solar eclipse is a supercharged New Moon Virgo — a powerful reset that plants seeds and opens a new chapter in the Virgo areas of life.
What is an eclipse, astrologically?
A solar eclipse is a New Moon so exact that the Moon blocks the Sun — a charged fresh start whose effects unfold over the following six months. A lunar eclipse is a Full Moon where Earth's shadow falls on the Moon — a climax and release, often surfacing what's been hidden. Eclipses arrive in pairs about every six months, on the sign axis where the Moon's nodes sit, and tend to bring fated, fast-moving change in those areas of life.
