Eclipses 1999
Eclipses are the year's most powerful lunations — turbo-charged New and Full Moons that accelerate beginnings and endings. 1999 brings 4 eclipses: 2 solar and 2 lunar.
A penumbral lunar eclipse is a supercharged Full Moon Leo — a culmination and release point where something comes to a head and is let go.
An annular solar eclipse is a supercharged New Moon Aquarius — a powerful reset that plants seeds and opens a new chapter in the Aquarius areas of life.
A partial lunar eclipse is a supercharged Full Moon Aquarius — a culmination and release point where something comes to a head and is let go.
A total solar eclipse is a supercharged New Moon Leo — a powerful reset that plants seeds and opens a new chapter in the Leo areas of life.
What is an eclipse, astrologically?
A solar eclipse is a New Moon so exact that the Moon blocks the Sun — a charged fresh start whose effects unfold over the following six months. A lunar eclipse is a Full Moon where Earth's shadow falls on the Moon — a climax and release, often surfacing what's been hidden. Eclipses arrive in pairs about every six months, on the sign axis where the Moon's nodes sit, and tend to bring fated, fast-moving change in those areas of life.
